Francois Masciopinto is ISM’s most recent addition, joining the team in May, 2006 to lead ISM’s European presence. He has spent over twelve years in the interactive entertainment business, working as the director of A&R and business development at Atari/ Infogrames, marketing manager for Canal+, and in product management positions at Phillips Media and Ubisoft. Prior to this, he worked as an associate music producer for EMI, producing and securing the rights for music compilations. During his tenure at Atari, Francois managed new business development, overseeing financial analysis, due diligence, and legal reviews for external game development studios. He placed products and negotiated contracts that generated substantial revenue and market share for Atari, including the Anno Series (2 million units sold in Europe), Heart of Darkness (3 million units sold), and forged valuable studio relationships with Bioware, Climax, Digital Extremes, Hudson, Kuju, Rainbow Studios, Saber, and a host of others. Francois is based in New York City.
